The first year shouldn’t have a price tag

A baby reaching for a sensory bead maze at The Little Play Avenue

There is a moment, quiet and unremarkable to anyone watching, when a seven-month-old reaches for something new. A texture they haven’t touched. A sound they haven’t placed. Their fingers close around it, and the entire world reorganizes itself inside their mind. By six months old, their brain is forming more than one million neural connections every single second.

And there is another moment happening at exactly the same time that no one talks about enough. The one where their parent exhales. Where the person holding the coffee and the diaper bag and the question am I doing this right watches their baby discover something beautiful, and feels, maybe for the first time in weeks, that their shoulders have dropped.

Both of those moments deserve a space designed to hold them.

Baby & Me is for both of you.

Here’s what it is. Baby & Me is a dedicated, open-play experience for babies eleven months and under and the grownups who love them. A clean, beautiful, temperature-controlled space filled with sensory-rich materials selected by our founder, Dr. Leena Hasbini, whose doctorate is in Educational Leadership. Every surface is sanitized between sessions. Every detail is intentional. And it’s complimentary. Every visit. No membership required.

Booking takes about thirty seconds. You pick a date on our portal, choose a time that works, and show up. That’s it. Grip socks will be waiting. So will Avenue Brew, if you need a moment with a warm cup in your hands while your little one explores.

The only program of its kind in Phoenix, and we built it because the first year is extraordinary and isolating in equal measure. You are learning a person who cannot yet tell you who they are. A person who will triple their birth weight by their first birthday, who will go from grasping a finger to taking a first step in twelve breathtaking months. You are relearning yourself. And most of the world is designed for the version of you that existed before. The one who slept, who showered without a plan, who didn’t sit in the car an extra five minutes just to feel like a whole person again.

We built Baby & Me because we believe that version of you deserves to be met exactly where you are.

We thought about you
before you walked in.

You walk in with your baby. You haven’t slept. You’re carrying a diaper bag, a car seat, and the quiet weight of a question you can’t quite articulate yet. Complimentary grip socks are already waiting at the door. You never had to ask. Your little one is barefoot on a surface that was sanitized thirty minutes ago. The light is warm. The air is clean.

And then you notice Avenue Brew right inside the space. A real coffee bar, steps from where your baby is playing. You order a cortado. You sit down. You take a breath. For a moment, you’re just a person holding a warm cup, watching your child discover something new. No one is rushing you.

That’s the part that gets you. Not the beautiful space. Not the curated materials. It’s the fact that someone thought about what you needed, not just your baby. The grip socks were for them. The coffee bar was for you. Both were here before you arrived.

Between zero and twelve months, babies develop depth perception, object permanence, and cause-and-effect reasoning. The cognitive architecture of everything that comes after. Every texture they touch at The Little Play Avenue is doing real, meaningful work inside their brain.

We don’t just design for children. We design for the people who are becoming parents alongside them.
Leena Hasbini, Ed.D.

You look around. Other parents are here. Dads on paternity leave. First-time moms with that look you recognize. Grandparents showing up so their grown-up can nap. Some are first-timers, and you can tell by the way they’re scanning the room, half-expecting the catch. There isn’t one. Just a calm, beautiful space where your baby is reaching for something new, and you’re sitting in a room that was designed with the same care you’d bring to the most important guest at the most important dinner of your life.

Except here, you’re the guest.

They don’t know what a membership tier is.
They just know their hands found something extraordinary.
And the world got a little bigger.

You don’t have to do
this alone.

Many of the families who walk through our doors for Baby & Me become members. They enroll in Melody Makers. They book their child’s first celebration, and then their second, and third. Generosity has a way of becoming belonging.

But that’s not why we built this. We built this because the first year is hard and beautiful and sometimes both at once. The families living it deserve a space designed with as much intention as they’re pouring into their children. By eleven months, a baby can understand roughly fifty words, recognize themselves in a mirror, and wave goodbye on purpose. They’re not just growing. They’re becoming someone. And you deserve a space that honors that transformation in both of you. A space where someone already thought about the grip socks. And the sanitization. And the coffee.

Especially the coffee.

Baby & Me is complimentary for all babies eleven months and under, every visit. Book in thirty seconds. Walk in. Everything is already waiting.

We’ve got you.

Complimentary for every baby eleven months and under. Pick a time, show up, and let us take care of the rest.
